The most talked about thing at the moment in the world is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan, which has gone wild on the internet like a forest fire. The Manchester United forward has finally opened up on his tough six months at the club, after he failed to seal a move away in the summer. Lack of Champions League football at Old Trafford had irked the competition’s all-time top scorer, and his fractured equation with the club’s new manager Erik ten Hag just added to the misery. Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t got on well with the new man at the helm, after having a tiff with the previous man in charge Ralf Rangnick as well.
Ten Hag has already issued a warning to his players he will have complete authority over the dressing room and that a breach of rule and regulations set by him will have dire consequences. Ronaldo has twice committed the breach, by not being present at the gaffer’s post-match talk, with the latest incident being against Tottenham last month. Ten Hag, as a result, dropped him from the squad completely for their next game against Chelsea, as the 37-year-old has now claimed there’s conspiracy going on to drive him out of the club.

When and where to watch Cristiano Ronaldo’s full interview with Morgan
Cristiano Ronaldo has clearly not been the focal point of Ten Hag’s plan, as the Dutchman has only started the forward on 4 occasions out of 10 in the league. Majority of his starts have come in the Europa League, being named in the starting line-up for all six of the group stage fixtures. His lack of fitting into a high pressing system is the only reason one can cite for Ten Hag constantly dropping the club’s top-scorer from last season.
This hasn’t been received well by the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who expects to start every week. However, his season so far been that of cameos off the bench in the league, and regular starts in the competition he was trying to run away from. Moreover, after his antics during the Spurs game, where he refused to come on as a substitute, and stormed down the tunnel before the full-time whistle he had the club fuming.
Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t seen in action in the club’s last game against Fulham, citing an illness problem, as he dropped a bombshell on the club in a surprise interview with Piers Morgan. The British TV presenter shared a glimpse of the interview which is making the headlines at the moment as fans across the globe are desperate to watch it in full, as we bring you the details, where and when it can be viewed.

As can be seen, Cristiano has hit out at Manchester United for “betraying” him, and further reveals the club along with the coach wants him out. The Portuguese icon also admit that he hasn’t got any respect for Erik ten Hag, since the same is not being reciprocated by the Dutchman. The club has also stagnated in terms of progress since Sir Alex Ferguson left, claims the five-time Champions League winner as he now head to the World Cup with Portugal. It will be interesting to see how Ronaldo returns to Carrington post the global showpiece, with a January exit looking imminent for him.
