According to Goal Indian Super League franchise Delhi Dynamos have announced the name of brazilian legend Roberto Carlos as their marquee signing for the season 2015/16. A week back Delhi Dynamos had revealed that the Brazilian will be the manager of the club for the coming season. He has replaced Dutch manager Harm van Veldhoven under whom the side had finished 5th in the league with 18 points from 14 matches. The team had failed to qualify for the semi final.
In the present circumstances Carlos will serve as a player manager for the club. In the previous edition Italian legend Alessadro Del Piero was the marqee player of Delhi Dynamos.
Roberto Carlos had previously served Russian Premier League side Anzhi Makhachkala as a player manager. He had played just 5 matches for the side. Delhi Dynamos’ managerial role will be Roberto Carlos’ third club as a manager.

Roberto Carlos’ ex-Real Madrid teammate Zinedine Zidane has sent in good wishes for the Brazilian. The club’s official Facebook page has uploaded a video which features Zidane speaking about Roberto Carlos’ new assignment with the Indian side and wished him luck for the new endeavour.
