Delhi Dynamos are just one step away from re-writing the history of Indian football forever. Sources close to the ISL franchise have revealed the possibility of a future partnership with the current European Champions and one of the biggest teams in the world Real Madrid.

The proposed partnership will be the biggest tie-up in the history of Indian football, surpassing the last season’s association between ISL side Atletico de Kolkata and La Liga giants Atletico Madrid. This massive news was revealed earlier by the newly appointed president of Delhi Dynamos, Prashant Agarwal.

Agarwal said: “Our goal is to make Delhi a football club from just a franchise,”

He continued by saying that, there isn’t a deal struck as if now but the two clubs are exploring ideas to make the linkup happen in coming weeks.

Agarwal said: “They have expressed interest and have said that they want to explore ideas.”

This partnership will be almost along the same lines as between the two Atletico clubs. Delhi Dynamo players would get an access to use the coaching and training facilities at Santiago Bernabeu and players can swap directions as well.

Once the partnership is made official, Delhi can hope to attract few more marquee players from around the world. Last seaon, Delhi managed to bag Alessandro Del Piero in a 10.6 crore deal. Delhi would be hopeful to add some more big names to their established squad.

Delhi fans are getting excited listening to the news but they need to wait for few months before anything becomes official. Amid the Real Madrid tie-up. Delhi could end their current partnership with the Dutch side Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Delhi finished fifth in the opening season of the Indian Premier League and were unable to qualify for the semi-finals. Delhi are eager to stamp their authority in the next of ISL where they will be hopeful to enter the tournament on the back of a historic tie-up with La Liga and European giants Real Madrid.
