According to French media Get French Football, Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria is all set to join Ligue 1 champion side Paris Saint-Germain for €65m on Friday, 24th July.

Angel Di Maria had joined the Red Devils last summer for a British transfer record fee £59.7 million from Real Madrid. He had a forgettable debut season at Old Trafford as he remained out of action for most of the season. He came back to the side in second half of the season but failed to regain his spot in the starting lineup. Louis van Gaal preferred Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Marouanne Fellaini over the Argentine.
The lack of first team opportunities stimulated rumours that the winger might leave the club this summer and he was linked with several clubs mainly Paris Saint-Germain.
Another reason for the rumours that can be cited is that Louis van Gaal bought 3 new midfielders this summer including a winger in Memphis Depay. Depay’s arrival clearly pointed out that Angel Di Maria became out of favour at the club.
If the Di Maria deal eventually happens tomorrow, it will open up the chances of them signing a big money striker in this season. They are already in search of striker and defender and Van Gaal had mentioned that a surprise signing is on the card.
