The football match was barely beginning in the Chilean Primera Division, as it was halted due to an adorable interruption. Curicó Unido, the host club, and Palestino, a visiting Chilean team, played in front of a packed house of spectators in Curicó, Chile. But a surprise guest entered the pitch and disrupted the game. Suddenly, a big brown dog showed up on the pitch.
Dogs like chasing balls, tearing holes in sticks, and, most amusingly, catching our attention. The energetic dog rushed across the pitch before turning abruptly to pursue the ball. As the Chilean Primera Division game halts, a video captures the dog running to the ball. A number of players and the referee approach the dog in an attempt to recover the ball but are unsuccessful.

A player can be seen petting the dog in a another video posted on Facebook as the animal is holding the ball in its jaws and paws. The dog collapses upon the ball in a playful manner. According to the Chilean news site Deportes 13, one of the Palestino players, Maximiliano Salas, scooped up the dog and started taking it off the pitch.
Despite this, the dog clung to the ball and clamped its lips shut as the laughing players carried it off the pitch, as shown in a video from the Chilean Primera Division. When the dog finally released his grip, Salas gave the youngster to a different stadium official.
This wasn’t the first time a frolicking puppy had successfully diverted attention from a football game in the country apart from the Chilean Primera Division football match. The national women’s teams of Chile and Venezuela were scheduled to play a game of football when a black dog barged onto the pitch and started demanding belly rubs from the athletes.

As players and spectators cheered it on, the cute puppy won over their hearts. The black dog made a debut in the 36th minute of the match at the La Granja stadium in Curicó, Chile. The dog rolled onto its back and barked for belly rubs as it charged directly towards the Chilean goalkeeper. The goaltender kindly cooperated as the dog joyfully rolled around.
In order to get the puppy off the pitch, the referee paused the game and attempted to engage it with belly rubs. The black puppy refused to go to the touchline when a Chilean player tried to pick it up and guide it off the ground, and a steward joined her in that effort. Instead, the dog ran into the middle of the pitch.
The puppy was invited to sprint to another player at the midway line by opening her arms, but the canine was too smart and made a sideways rush while the crowd cheered. The dog ran around the large, green pitch, stretching its legs, and then dashed off of the field. The puppy then rushed back onto the field and sat down, pleading with a Chilean player to massage its belly. The player picked up the puppy and gave it to a steward, who carried the dog off the field to a round of applause.
