Arsenal have been kept fairly busy in their transfer activities in recent weeks. After completing Petr Cech’s transfer, Arsenal have now turned to their youth academy and signed Vlad Dragomir from ACS Poli Timisoara for €100,000 (£71,000).
Vlad Dragomir is Romania’s Under-16 and according to his agent, he is one of the brightest talents plying his trade in Europe.
Back in Romania, Dragomir is eyed as a wonderkid who is ready to take the world by storm. He is a midfield player who has an eye for forward passes and creativity. Sounds like an ideal match for both club and the player.
According to Vlad Dragomir’s agent, he had offer the 16-year old player to Arsenal about year-and-a-half ago and since that time Arsenal have closely monitored player’s development.
After being convinced with Dragomir’s abilities, Northe London club have finally tied up a deal for the 16-year old player.
Dragomir was ecstatic at signing a three-year contract with Arsenal and stated his desire to get in to the first team in near future. Dragomir was linked with a move to Internazionale as well.
On signing the contract, Dragomir said: “I am very glad and I hope not to disappoint anyone.
“The Arsenal offer seemed the best to me, I felt that this is my place.”
