The January transfer window is now open and the clubs around Europe are already getting their deals done for their transfer market, midway through the season.
The Premier League has also seen a few additions in the first week of the transfer window and London outfit Chelsea have today announced their first signing of the transfer window.
Antonio Conte, who had a successful summer transfer window at the start of the season, is expected to spend yet again this month and he has now completed the signing of defender Kyle Jameson.
The 18-year old started at the Merseyside with the ranks of Everton and later ended up at the Southport. He was a free agent at the start of the month and the Blues have wasted no time in signing him on a short-term deal.

He was previously unregistered in the Premier League but Chelsea have now signed him on an 18-month deal to keep him at the Bridge until the end of the next season.
A centre back, by trait, Jameson is one of the most highly rated youngsters in the domestic circuit of England and was expected to be snapped up pretty quickly.
Antonio Conte was reportedly interested in the player’s ability, technique and attributes when he was on trial with the Blues just before Christmas and he decided to offer him a contract which Jameson gleefully signed.
A statement on the official Chelsea website read: “Our Academy ranks have been bolstered by the signing of Kyle Jameson.
“The 18-year-old centre-back was an unregistered player and signs a professional contract at the club until the end of next season.”
On the same day as John Obi Mikel confirmed his exit, sending a touching message to the Chelsea faithful, Conte has gone out and completed his first signing of the New Year.
Jameson joins Chelsea after youngsters Martell Taylor-Crossdale and Jamie Cumming also signed deals with the Stamford Bridge outfit.
But none of the above mentioned players are expected to feature in the first team anytime soon and will only add to the already insane number of players in their total squad.

Conte is a bit short of defenders with David Luiz, John Terry, and Gary Cahill, all entering the last few years of their playing career. So he will have to look at more than one potential replacement and is doing it the right way by spending on young players.
Jameson has shown enough promise in his time in the National League and if he can impress the Italian at the Bridge, he has every chance of turning into a star player for years to come.
