England and Manchester United defender, Luke Shaw, who was stretched off at 54 minutes in UEFA Nations League match against Spain on Saturday has promised to return on the pitch soon.
Luke Shaw suffered a horrible injury during England-Spain’s match.

After a clash with Spain’s Dani Carvajal, the defender landed heavily on the ground and suffered a massive blow. The game got stopped for five minutes, and Shaw was stretched off the field in the end.
However, the left-back has been seen walking and talking in the dressing room later. And now, he will undergo further tests at Wembley to know the seriousness of the injury. Shaw tweeted, later on, thanking the fans for the support and vowed to be back soon.
“Thank you for all the love and support I am doing fine and am in the best hands. I’m a fighter, so I will be back soon!”

Meanwhile, England’s manager, Gareth Southgate also gave an update about the defender and said they wouldn’t take any chances.
“He’s sat up in the dressing room. He’s talking and seems fairly comfortable. We’ll have to assess him a little bit more overnight and tomorrow, but that’s definitely a good sign. We’ll go through some tests. It’s obviously a nasty-looking fall and collision. For certain, we won’t take any chances with his health, but the good news is he is awake, talking and seems reasonably fine.”
However, the Manchester United defender played his 8th match for England. The hosts tasted a 2-1 defeat despite scoring early. Rashford put England on top just after 11 minutes of the game.
But England couldn’t hold the lead for long as two minutes later, Saul equalised. And Rodrigo’s 32nd-minute goal was the last of the match and enough to beat the World Cup 2018 semi-finalist.
