The Premier League was back in town this weekend as clubs from around the country were busy fighting for all three points this weekend. There were some interesting matchups this matchday, including games between the Manchester Clubs and the Merseyside clubs on Sunday.
There were also a number of other games that caught the eye at the weekend and may have a bearing on the points table come the end of the season.
There were some brilliant team performances that helped their sides to victories but there were also a fair share of individual performances that deserve a mention.
With the Matchday done and dusted, here is ‘Sportzwiki’s Team of the Week for Matchday 21:
Lineup (4-1-3-2):
Simon Mignolet (Liverpool):
The Belgian shot stopper was the man of the match in the intense rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend as he made a number of top quality saves to keep his side in the game.
Trent Alexander Arnold (Liverpool):

Though not a winning performance, the teenage defender stuck to his task well on the flank and helped his side stay in the game with a mature performance on his debut.
Dejan Lovren (Liverpool):
The third Liverpool player on the list, Lovren, was at the heart of the defence for Liverpool against United and he pocketed the likes of Ibrahimovic in a commanding performance on the night.
Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hotspur):
Dealing well with the threat from Phillips and Rondon, Alderweireld, put in a solid performance at the back that helped his side to a comfortable victory over the Baggies at the weekend.
Marcos Alonso (Chelsea):

The Italian wingback was intense for Chelsea in their game against the Foxes as he managed to get into goal scoring positions often, picking up a couple of goals and also keeping Leicester quite at the other end in a super performance.
Tom Davies (Everton):
Arguably the best player on the pitch for Everton in their victory over City, Davies, sat deep in front of back four and had answers for every question that Guardiola’s side posted on the night at the Goodison Park.
Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City):
Having put in a dominating performance, where he helped himself to a brace, Arnautiovic, was just unplayable on the night as Stoke ran away with all three points from their game against the Black Cats this weekend.
Michail Antonio (West Ham United):
The versatile winger had a field day over Swansea as he picked up an assist for all the goals from the Hammers in their victory this weekend.
Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal):

The Gunners were comfortable in their victory over Swansea City but the Chilean at the head of the attack was the major reason. He had more touches and passes of the ball than any other Arsenal player and he also made a number of interceptions before he scored the goal that sealed the game.
Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur):
The English striker is back to his best this January as he was all over the West Brom side, scoring a hat-trick and lifting his team closer to Chelsea at the top of the table.
Andy Carroll (West Ham United):
Having scored what is easily the goal of the season so far, Carroll, was a constant menace for Palace on a productive night for the strong striker.
And this is how they would line-up:
