Liverpool star ruled out for the rest of the season:
English international Danny Ings has been superb for the U21 side at the club this season. However, he has failed to make it into the starting XI in the League Cup games this season and was dealt a huge blow today.
He picked up a knee injury in the League Cup game against Tottenham coming in as a sub and is now ruled out for 7-9 months, all but ending his Premier League season. (Liverpoolfc.com)
