The Exact Reason Why Jurgen Klopp Has The Edge Over Pep Guardiola! 1

The Premier League is currently home to some of the best manager’s in the game at the moment.

Depending on how fans like the game played, there is someone in the top flight for them, but two of the more high profile bosses are attracting the majority of the headlines.

Though they may be chasing Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola are two of the league’s most analytical and charismatic managers.

But one has the edge ver the other, at least according to one man who has featured for both club.

Didi Hamann spent spells of his playing career at Anfield and the Etihad, but believes that Jurgen Klopp is the better manager, because he isn’t afraid of making the tough decisions.

The two manager’s come together for the final game of 2016 on Friday, and Hamman believes that Klopp’s greater ability to make tough calls serves him well.

But not only that, his skill at forging a bond with his players has stood him in good stead for the crunch match, too.

“The way Jurgen Klopp celebrates with his players makes him stand out in the Premier League,” said Hamann via the Daily Mirror.

“There’s a bond there which you don’t get at any other club.

“Those players would go through a brick wall for their manager – more so than any other club in the league.

“Guardiola certainly doesn’t seem to have the same connection with his players.

“Klopp has also made a cut-throat decision, whereas Pep hasn’t.

“Both clubs have had goalkeeper problems this season, but Klopp has dropped Loris Karius and brought back Simon Mignolet.

“There was huge pressure on Karius after high-profile mistakes, and while Klopp defended him in the Press, he changed him and dealt with the issue behind closed doors.

“Since then, Liverpool have won three games and only conceded once.

“Where some would have seen it as a weakness, Klopp showed strength under pressure and made a decisive call.

“Klopp has also made a cut-throat decision, whereas Pep hasn’t.”
