Raheem Sterling and Gareth Bale will be two of the biggest names linked with a move away from their current clubs in the summer. If we look closely at their situations, we would see that Sterling’s transfer would ultimately decide where Gareth Bale would end up playing next summer.
There are 3 clubs interested in signing both Sterling and Bale which are Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. All of these three teams have made Sterling as their first choice signing as he would come at a price range of £50 million and represents greater value for the future. Whereas, Bale’s proposed fee would be around £80 million.
Gareth Bale, therefore comes in the picture as the back-up signing to Sterling for all the three teams mentioned here.
In a way, Sterling’s transfer will decide where Bale will play his football next season. Sterling is heavily linked with a move to Liverpool’s bitter rivals Manchester United, which would mean that Bale would either end up with Chelsea or Manchester City.
Gareth Bale’s future at Real Madrid has been thrown in dark after the Madrid fans have turned against the Welsh superstar claiming that he is too selfish on the pitch and does not have the capability of being a Madrid superstar in future.
Raheem Sterling, however, has turned down his new Liverpool contract due to reasons best known to him. He is trying to sort out his future with or without Liverpool for next season and odds are heavily in favour of Sterling leaving Anfield next season.
These two mega transfer would shake the Premier League left, right and centre and it’s somewhat ironic and in a way poetic as well that these two mega deals are dependent on each other. One would pave the way for the other deal to get through. Just wonder who ends up with Bale and who snaps up Sterling.
