Premier League 2015/16 season is due to begin on 8th August. Most of the teams in Premier League are done with their pre-season trips and we have a gross idea about each and every squad. In this article we will discuss about the possible finish of Arsenal and what the fans can expect from their current crop of players.

Arsene Wenger did not make much changes in his squad. The only in player he bought this summer so far is veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea. He has also promoted few players from the youth team. The players are Isaac Hayden, Reine-Adeilade and Chuba Akpom.

The Gunners have an extremely balanced squad and are worthy of being a title challenger. The only problem they have is a lack of clinical striker. Olivier Giroud is the main number 9 for the Arsenal. Though the frenchman is a good goal getter he is not among the world class. Their strike force surely does not compliment their midfield which is one of the best in Premier League this time.

Santi Cazorla, Mesut Ozil and ofcourse Alexis Sanchez will be the most crucial players of the Arsenal squad. It is also a make or break season for 24-year-old defensive midfielder Francis Coquelin.

The full Arsenal squad is given below:

Squad

Goalkeepers- Petr Cech, David Ospina, Emiliano Martinez.

Defenders- Mathieu Debuchy, Hector Bellerin, Calum Chambers, Gabriel Paulista, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Nacho Monreal, Kieran Gibbs, Isaac Hayden.

Our take on what the fans can expect from Arsenal this season:

Arsenal have a brilliant squad to flaunt this season. On paper the Gunners’ midfield is arguably the best in the league. The only problem they have his in the striker department. They have Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Chuba Akpom in their squad but none of them are world class to be honest. Giroud is extremely talented no doubt but he is definitely not a world class player. Arsene Wenger since the end of last season has fielded Theo Walcott in the number 9 position a number of times. But that is still a makeshift option. If Arsenal buy a world class striker the team will surely become one of the main title contenders.

As for now the fans can expect to win any of the domestic knock-out trophies and top 3 finish. They can reach the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League.
