Fans were quick to spot Manchester United legend Gary Neville, who was on punditry duties for the Brentford v Liverpool game, sing the Bees’ anthem ‘Hey Jude’ after their dominating 3-1 win over the Reds. Liverpool took some beating by Brentford in their first league game of the year, as the Bees raced to a two-goal lead in the first 45 minutes itself.

Moreover, Brentford also saw two goals chalked-off in that first-half for offside after VAR consultation. Liverpool did pull one back through Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the start of the second-half, but the home side looked too determined to collect all three points as they added a third in the final ten minutes of the game to kill-off any potential comeback from the Reds.
