With the FIFA U20 World Cup having started, we look at some of the players to watch out for, who could make a difference for their sides. Here, we look at some of the players who could leave a mark from Group E.

Saleh Gomaa (Egypt)

Gomaa plays for ENNPI and the Egyptian national team. He has competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2013 African U-20 Championship. The 19-year-old is one of the hottest properties in African football after impressing all onlookers with his displays at the African Under-20 championship in Algeria. The midfield starlet was voted Player of the Tournament as the Egyptians won the trophy.SalehGomaa, often touted as the ‘Egyptian Andres Iniesta’, has played for the Egypt national team and was the youngest player in the squad when he represented Egypt at the 2012 London Olympics. In just a matter of one year, Gomaa has represented Egypt for the U20, U23, and the first team squad. Gomaa received numerous offers from clubs in Europe, including Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Anderlecht

Bryan Rabello (Chile)

Rabello plays as an attacking midfielder for La Liga club Sevilla.Rabello made his competitive first team debut for Colo-Colo aged 15. His good skills, impressive performances and successful dribbles made that many clubs of Europe are interested on him andRabello signed a contract with Sevilla in Spain.

Rabello has been capped at under-17, under-20 and senior levels of the Chilean national football team. He participated with the under-17 squad in a tournament organized by Universidad Católica, in 2011. With the under-20 squad, he played an instrumental part in the 2013 South American Youth Championship, playing 8 matches, and scoring a goal from a free kick against Perú, in a 1-1 draw, being the goal which decided Chile’s qualification to the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, to be played in Istanbul. He has played two matches for the senior squad both in friendlies.

Angelo Henriquez (Chile)

Henríquez began his football career at Universidad de Chile aged 13 in 2007. Two years later, in 2009, Manchester United and Universidad de Chile signed an agreement to purchase the rights of Henríquez, for €4m, which can be paid until 2014. He joined Manchester United in August 2012, after being granted a governing body endorsement which would allow him to register and play for the club. In January 2013, hejoined Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the 2012–13 season.

Henríquez has consistently participated in the youth national football teams in Chile, the 2009 South American Under-15 in Boliviaand the 2011 South American Under-17 in Ecuador. Henríquez made his debut for the Chile senior team on in November 2012, coming on as a substitute for the injured Alexis Sánchez.

Mohannad Abdul-Raheem (Iraq)

Abdul-Raheem plays as a second striker for Duhok SC. Mohannad is the 2012 Asian Young Footballer of the Year, and earlier in the same year, he was chosen as 2012 AFC U-19 Championship’s MVP. Mohannad has the ability to score with each foot in equal accuracy.

Mohannad Abdul-Raheem had been called by Iraq coach Hakeem Shaker to represent Iraq first team in the upcoming 2013 Gulf Cup of Nations replacing Iraqi super star Younis Mahmoud, but stating that he would like to play alongside Younis Mahmoud. Abdul-Raheem is physically strong and aggressive lone striker with good skills, tactical intelligence, and very confident in going at opponents with numerical superiority.

Harry Kane (England)

Kane’s career started in the Tottenham youth system as a striker, making 22 appearances for Tottenham U18s during the 2009–2010 season, scoring 18 goals. He has spent loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City. He was awarded the Millwall Young Player of the Season in 2011-12.

Kane was called up to play for the England U17 side for the Algarve Tournament in Portugal. He later moved up to the U19s playing a large role in the England Under 19s progression to the semi-finals of their respective UEFA European Championship in Estonia during July, 2012.

Conor Coady (England)

Coady plays for Premier League club Liverpool, as either a defensive midfielder or centre back.Coady is a product of the Liverpool Youth Academy and has been with the Academy since 2005. Despite being named in the senior squad list and being called up to the senior squad occasionally since 2009, he did not make his official senior debut until November 2012. Coady was later installed as full-time captain of the Under-21 squad.

Coady has represented England at Under-16 right through to Under-19 level where he is currently playing. He has been capped 17 times for the England national under-17 football team. He played and captained the England team at the 2010 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship in Liechtenstein where him and his England colleagues won the tournament, and became the first England team to win an international tournament in 17 years. He was then part of the 2012 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship in Estonia in which England got as far as the semi-finals where they were knocked out by Greece. He was named captain of the England under-20 team by manager Peter Taylor for the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
