On the other hand, Egypt’s World Cup hopes are now hanging by a fine thread after their heartbreaking 1-0 loss to Uruguay. With their talisman Mohamed Salah on the bench, they managed to keep the South Americans at bay before Jose Gimenez’s 89th-minute winner broke their hearts. A loss in this game will pretty much end Egypt’s journey in Russia. Ahead of the crucial clash, they have received a huge injury boost. Salah has been declared 100 per cent fit by Egypt’s team doctor and is likely to start the game.
