Ederson has proved to be one of the stand-out players for Premier League champions, Manchester City.
He maintained 14 clean sheets with an outstanding passing accuracy of about 88 percent. Ederson named in the Champions League breakthrough XI last season. He has also been one of the best goalkeepers this season, marshalling the meanest defence in the league.
He will have a tough competition with Roma’s Allison, as Brazil’s first choice shot-stopper. Can Ederson replicate his success internationally? Only time will say.
