First Signing: Manchester United Ready To Confirm Deal For Defender!!
Jose Mourinho will allow youngster Joe Riley to leave the club on loan in January, according to the latest reports.
Riley broke into the Manchester United first-team under Louis van Gaal last season.
He featured against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup and also appeared against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League.
However, he has since fallen down the pecking order under Mourinho and is desperate to secure regular football.
The Daily Mail claim that Riley has asked Mourinho to leave on loan this month.
And the former Chelsea boss is ready to sanction a move despite his insistence that the club are unwilling to accept loan offers for players in January.
It is claimed that Riley looks set to join League One side Sheffield United.
The defender wants regular playing time to show he can shine under Mourinho in the long run.
The 20-year-old, who already has two appearances to his name under Mourinho this term, is an England under-20 international who is capable of operating down the left-hand side in both an attacking and defensive capacity.
Riley has yet to have a loan spell away from Old Trafford, but manager Mourinho will allow him to make the move to gain some vital first team experience, and the chance to join a club flying high in League One could be an excellent opportunity for the youngster.
Riley is not expected to be the only departure this month.
Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin are both wanted at Everton, while goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is a reported target for David Moyes at Sunderland.
