Chuba Akpom:

Akpom has scored most number of goals for Arsenal in friendlies since 2013-14, but is yet to find the back of the net in a competitive match for the Gunners. The striker was kept at the Emirates only because Arsenal were finding it tough to land a striker. But now that they have signed Lucas Perez from Deportive La Coruna, it seems that the 20-year-old striker’s role will be limited to staying on the bench or playing in few EFL cup matches.

Yaya Sanogo:

After helping Arsenal win the FA Cup in May 2014, he joined Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season the following January. The next summer saw him join Dutch side Ajax for the first half of the campaign. He then spent the second half of the season with Charlton. But the 23-year has still not established himself at the Emirates.  Fitness is one another roadblock in his career. The chances of Sanogo ever being a regular player for Arsenal look increasingly small. With Lucas Perez added to Arsenal’s attack and Olivier Giroud also returning to full fitness, he will find it really tough to break into the first team.

David Ospina

The arrival of Chelsea legend Petr Cech at the Emirates has seen the Columbia goalkeeper losing his starting spot. Ospina was heavily linked with a move away from the club, but Wenger managed to keep hold of a player he still rates very highly. He featured for the Gunners in the cup games including in the Champions League last season but a major blunder against Olympiakos costed him his spot in the team. And it seems highly unlikely that he will get a chance in this season.
