Following his breakup with Ana Cristina Aguas, former Big Brother contestant Pedro Soa revealed that Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been watching his Instagram stories. Soa is a Portuguese reality television celebrity who rose to prominence after competing in Season 5 of Big Brother Portugal in 2020.

Soa famously dated Ana Cristina Aguas for a decade before getting engaged four months earlier. However, the couple recently divorced, mostly owing to familial concerns. Pedro Soa has been venting on Instagram since their split, sharing not only photos but also stories about his broken romance.

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to help fellow countryman celebrity through break-up

In an unexpected turn of events, Soa has revealed that his fellow Portuguese countryman Cristiano Ronaldo, also the most followed person on Instagram, has been watching his work. Soa screenshotted the list of onlookers from one of his Instagram stories, proving that the former Manchester United and Real Madrid icon was definitely watching his stories. Soa thanked the 38-year-old for his ‘morale’ support, saying (through flash.pt):

“Ronaldo watching my stories. Thank you, Cristiano. Your morale at this point is welcome.”

It is however unknown whether Cristiano Ronaldo knows Soa or Aguas personally. But, given that Soa is a well-known Portuguese reality TV star, it’s not a surprise that the Portugal legend is keeping tabs on his travels. Meanwhile, Ronaldo will now look forward to play under a fourth new manager in just eight months’ time for club and country.

The striker first had a hard time under new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag, who didn’t fancy the five-time Ballon d’Or winner as an integral part of his plans for the Red Devils’ rebuilding. As a result, Ronaldo publicly called out the Dutchman, before eventually leaving United by mutually terminating his contract prior to the World Cup.

His struggles continued in Qatar as well, after having a fallout with Portugal coach Fernando Santos, who then benched his all-time topscorer for the round of 16 as well as the quarterfinals tie. Portugal were knocked out by Morocco in the last-8. Following the events, Santos was sacked and replaced by former Belgium manager Roberto Martinez.

So far, so good for Cristiano Ronaldo who featured in Portugal’s both the EURO 2024 qualifiers which took place last month. He scored four goals across the two games, which spelled the start of the Roberto Martinez era. Elsewhere, Ronaldo’s Al Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has been sacked recently, leaving Al-Nassr as the title favourites in second place.

Cristiano Ronaldo has conveyed his best wishes to Rudi Garcia following the confirmation of the manager’s Al-Nassr departure. The Frenchman was appointed by the Saudi club less than a year ago, but it was revealed on Thursday that he would be leaving by mutual consent. Cristiano Ronaldo had got a contract worth £173 million per year after signing for Al Nassr, and has 11 goals in his first ten Saudi Pro League outings.
