Wenger will not be a happy man with his team’s recent performances and will hope that they can improve for the rest of the season.
They are currently 8 points off the top of the table and the manager will be looking to add a few top class players to his squad to keep them going until the end of the season.
This has seen him linked with a move for a number of top class players this month as he is ready to splash the cash. But at the same time, he will also have an eye on players in his squad who could be offloaded.
One such player who is likely to leave the club in January is French defender Mathieu Debuchy.

The former Newcastle United defender joined the club back in 2014 and spent the second half of the previous season on loan at Bordeaux.
He was expected to play a greater role at the Emirates this season but Wenger does not seem too happy with his performance in the few chances he was given and is now ready to offload him.
At 31, he is an experienced defender who can walk into most clubs in Europe and there will be no shortage of clubs who would want to sign him in January.
And reports today suggest that French outfit Marseille are now plotting a move for him this month.
According to reports from L’Equipe, Debuchy is wanted on a 6-month loan by Marseille who only want to keep him at the club until the end of the current season.
They are not the only club who want Debuchy this window as Italian outfit Fiorentina and Spanish outfit Espanyol are also interested in his signature.

Wanted in three different leagues, Debuchy, is a decent player who will fee hard done by at the Emirates but have made no impact in his 13 games in the Premier League in two years at the club, he hardly has any future in London.
He has shown a weakness that will be constantly exploited in the Premier League and a move away from England might work as a charm for his career.
But at 31, he does not have too many years in his career to make an impact in Europe and this move to Marseille might give him an outside chance to do so.
At the moment, none of the clubs have made an official approach but with the window still in its infancy, it will be interesting to see what transpires.
Do you think Wenger should let Debuchy leave this January?
