Arsene Wenger Furious After PSG Draw, Warns Players About This!! 1

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has slammed his players after they failed to hold onto their lead that helped Paris Saint-Germain come from behind to earn a 2-2 draw against the Gunners.

For the second game in a row, Arsene Wenger’s men failed to give an impressive performance as the French champions were clearly the better team throughout the game. Unai Emery’s men deservedly took the lead in the 18th minute when Edinson Cavani finished off a fine counter-attack. However, the Gunners drew level late in first half and then took the lead around the hour mark against the run of play. Oliver Giroud, who had scored the equaliser in the 1-1 stalemate against United last week, restored parity by converting from the spot after Alexis Sanchez won a penalty in a controversial manner.  The home team took the lead when an Aaron Ramsey shot found the back of the net after rebounding onto the shins of Marco Verratti.

Needing a win to top the group, Arsenal were looking destined to bag all the three points. However, they conceded the lead when an unmarked Lucas Moura’s header was deflected by Alex Iwobi past goalkeeper David Ospina in the 77th minute.

As a result of the draw, Arsenal’s hopes of topping the group now hangs in balance as PSG will have to slip up against Ludogorets and the North London outfit will have to win at Basel to top the group.

As expected, Wenger was far from impressed with his players and blasted them for conceding the equaliser.

“You have to consider two things. The intensity we put in and the result,” said Wenger.
“We gave a lot tonight and we came back from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 and then gave away an own goal.
“We had good spells in the game but we could not dominate. Tonight my concern is that we were 2-1 up and allowed them to come back at us.
“It’s difficult to understand how easy we gave away a goal at a corner,” he added.
