Liverpool Echo had reported the move of Marko Grujic earlier this day, but the tale took a different end. The deal didn’t go through as news came out to be fake. The deal termed confirmed at one time and was termed undone at the other time. This happened several times and the move remained uncertain. The situation was hitting new twists in every minute. Today both the Merseyside and Serbian media reported that a deal had been agreed, they detailed the price, the terms and even that Grujic was set to travel to Liverpool to have a medical. It was just a case of waiting for the official announcements, but Grujic himself has tried to calm everything down.
Grujic explained, “I find it strange that foreign media convey information that it’s already completed and I was set for medical examinations, the only truth is that I am on vacation.”
The youngster has denied that a deal is done, as it stands, to move to Liverpool “I read in the paper that I had signed and it’s all finalised, that’s interesting… because even I did not know.”
Grujic cleared that no deal was made and the media was misleading the masses. Grujic said, “I’m not ruling out the possibility that it happens, but I’m not saying if I’m on the brink of signing.”
Grujic has a cash injection with Red Star Belgrade and, therefore, they’re hurrying up with the deal. The midfielder, however, shows no signs of being highly interested in the move and is taking things slow and steady.
