Louis van Gaal and Manchester United after their recent results are sure to be busy in the transfer market and with less than 48 hours left for the transfer window to close, they are now linked with a number of Premier League stars.
The Daily Star reported that England International and Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is on the wish list for the Red Devils.
Louis van Gaal is understood to be pondering over a move for the 22 year old and reportedly had scouts sent in for the last four games that the striker played in.
United’s interest in Harry Kane comes in behind an impressive performance by the forward who has found the net consistently in the last few outings. He has now netted 18 goals this season in all competitions for club and country.
It is now reported that the Manchester franchise is ready to take the next step in their pursuit of the 50 million rated star from London who was also linked with the likes of Real Madrid earlier in the window.
The Red Devils were interested in his services even in the summer but instead opted to bring Anthony Martial into the picture late in the summer window. A senior chief at Old Trafford has now identified Kane as the man to answer the goals scoring woes of the Red Devils in front of goal.
The move for Kane in the summer broke down and this move is also bound to head into the same direction as the London franchise are reportedly adamant to keep hold of the player till the end of the season.
It was also reported that Dele Alli is also a target for Louis van Gaal who has had some injuries to deal with. Alli has been one of the best players at White Hart Lane and is an important part of the plans for Pochettino.
It is hard to see either player leave London for a switch to Manchester, however, playing for one of the best clubs in Europe might tempt them to ponder over a move.
Do you think Harry Kane can solve the problems at Old Trafford this season?
