Chelsea have suffered a huge injury blow as their star player Eden Hazard came off injured during his country’s game against Estonia in the World Cup qualifier in Brussels.
Roberto Martinez’s men ran riot against a woeful Estonia side and won the game by an astonishing scoreline of 8-1. However, their brilliant performance was marred by the injury to their skipper Eden Hazard. The Chelsea winger, who had earlier scored a goal, asked to be subbed with 17 minutes remaining. The mishap happened when Estonian right-back Gert Kams appeared to walk on Hazard’s foot. The Belgium international immediately signalled to the bench and was replaced by Everton star Kevin Mirallas.

The injury is not looking that serious as the Chelsea star did not need any assistance to leave the field but he’s likely to miss Chelsea’s upcoming league game against Middlesbrough on Sunday.
With Chelsea finally looking a settled side, Hazard’s injury will be a big blow for Antonio Conte, who is also likely to miss Diego Costa in the upcoming match. The 2014-15 Premier League Player of the Year has started the season in fine form and has been one of the biggest reasons for the Blues’ impressive performance in recent times. The winger, who had a disastrous last term, has already scored seven goals.
The Blues are currently second in the Premier League, only a point behind table-toppers Liverpool, and missing two of their most important players on Sunday could dent their hopes of winning their sixth game in a row.
