Manchester United players have looked despirited when they arrived back home post midnight around 3:30 AM after their horrendous defeat to Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
However, Paul Pogba who was forced to leave the field after suffering a dead leg in the 29th minute of the clash was seen still limping as he made through the tunnels of the airport. The 23-year old has been under huge criticism after his normal performances since joining the club in summer for a world record fee.
The current situation meant Paul Pogba might not be fit in time for their Premier League clash against Swansea City this weekend. With this major doubt, however could bring up a first call for the outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger who has been ousted from the team by Jose Mourinho since summer.
The 33-year old midfielder has been training with the first team since Monday and is expected to be back in the first team as Mourinho is looking for new options in the midfield which has recreated life for German legend at Old Trafford.
Manchester United have looked poor in their game against Fenerbahce as a stunning overhead kick after just over a minute of play by Moussa Sow has caught the Red Devils off guard. Jeremain Lens has doubled the lead for the hosts with a spectacular free kick in the second half.
However, a long range effort from Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has seen the Red Devils fight for a point but the goal has remained a mere consolation as the Premier League giants have dropped all the points in the crucial fixture.
Jose Mourinho was livid with his side’s performance as he described the players were casual as if it was a pre-season friendly game. Manchester United will need to change ther tactics faster as their title rivals are all currently enjoying good start to their seasons.
