Liverpool’s Deadline Day Plans Exposed, Jurgen Klopp Has Last Minute Updates For Fans
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not keen on signing any player in the last minutes of the deadline day as he is happy with his squad.
However, the club could see a couple of players leave with Mamadou Sakho attracting interest from both Southampton and Crystal Palace. The French defender has lost his position after the rift with Klopp and has never won back his position after making an impressive 33 appearances for Liverpool last season.
Another deal that could go through in the final minutes is that of rookie Jordan Williams who is drawing huge interest from Championship clubs Charlton and MK Dons. He earlier had loan spells with Notts County and Swindon Town and is keen to get more playing time which is currently lacking at Anfield.
Klopp meanwhile is focused on the huge contest against Chelsea this weekend as the Reds will face the London Blues in a make or break game of their current season.
The Reds have lost their last three games and have also won only one in seven games this month which saw their season shatter away. During the course, Liverpool was knocked out from both EFL Cup and FA Cup as they are left 10 points behind league leaders Chelsea in the Premier League title race.
Klopp and his players will need to win the game against Chelsea at Anfield as it will be stern test for the hosts after their huge slump in form in the recent weeks. Should Liverpool lose they are clearly out of the league race as well. They will be left behind by 13 points from Chelsea and even if they win all the next 15 games in the league if would be tough for them to clinch the ultimate glory at the end of the season.
