Jurgen Klopp’s Premier League stint started in fine fashion but it has all turned into a nightmare unravelling in front of him as his Liverpool side have now played out one of the worst months in the history of the club.
The Reds have taken just 2 points form 3 league games this month, slipping to the 4th place in the points table, 10 points off Chelsea at the top. They lost to Southampton in the League Cup semi-final, just days before being humiliatingly knocked out of the FA Cup by the Wolves at the weekend.
They have now lost three consecutive games at Anfield and are in desperate need of some reinforcements and Jurgen Klopp is now planning to do exactly the same.
According to reports from the Express, the Reds are planning to make a sizzling move for German midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud to try and rescue their season this campaign.

The 21-year old Syrian-born midfielder has been one of the most consistent players in his position for some time now and the Liverpool manager has been an admirer of the youngster for some time now.
He was a genuine transfer target at the start of the season but Liverpool failed to lure the club and the player into a deal and had to let Dahoud stay.
However, the player is currently unhappy with his time at Borussia Monchengladbach and may be for sale if the German outfit wants to get rid of him.
At his age, Dahoud is a starlet that can turn into a star player in years to come but he will enter the final year of his contract if he stays at the club next season and Monchengladbach will have to risk letting him go on a free in a couple of years time.

The 21-year old is now closer to signing a new contract at the club and it is now understood that Jurgen Klopp is planning to make a deadline day move for the midfielder.
With not too many months left on his contract, Dahoud is expected to be available for £10m which is nothing less than steal but Liverpool face tough competition from all over Europe.
The likes of AC Milan, Juventus and Barcelona are all interested in his signature but Jurgen Klopp is determined to get him to the club and is ready to make a move this month.
Do you think the 21-year old is what Liverpool need to rescue their PL season?
