Huge News: PSV Chief Confirms Interest In Talented Chelsea Midfielder 1

Dutch club PSV Eindhoven are keen to make a swoop for Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel in January as club’s sporting director Marcel Brands has confirmed that the club are keen to sign the exciting midfielder who is ousted from first team under Antonio Conte.

The 24-year old has largely played for Chelsea U-23’s and have failed to make a single appearance for the senior squad this season. Marco van Ginkel has joined the Dutch outfit last winter and was an instant hit as he helped the team to league title in May as he scored eight goals in 13 league appearances.

However, van Ginkel had suffered a knee injury which has halted his spell at PSV and has been featuring for the youth development squad since recovery. But the midfielder is expected to leave Stamford Bridge in January – either on loan or permanently as his opportunities are seriously limited.

Speaking about the potential move for van Ginkel, PSV sporting director has not ruled out the proposition of bringing back the Dutch midfielder back to the club.

“We need to check with Chelsea,” Brands told Dutch broadcaster Omroep Brabant.

“Of course he’s on our list, but we must also see if there is a spot for him at this time in our team.

“That question will be answered by our technical staff. We need to look even if he is feasible. We have not enquired with Chelsea yet.”

Marco van Ginkel has joined Chelsea in 2013 but has so far failed to break into the first team over the past three and half years. He has had loan spells at AC Milan, Stoke City and PSV so far since moving to Stamford Bridge.
