Steven Caulker had his first Liverpool training session experience yesterday after signing for the Merseysiders.
It is believed that Klopp will include the former Tottenham defender into his match day squad to face Arsenal at Anfield tonight.

Liverpool has been badly hit by injuries this term, and the German manager only has two other centre-backs in his disposal right now.
Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure are ready to start against the Gunners, though neither of them is completely match fit.

Caulker will certainly be on the bench tonight as manager Jurgen Klopp remains optimistic about his new signing’s experience ahead of the high-voltage clash.
He said: “We looked for Premier League experience; we looked for a good header of the ball because we want to press the opponent and so they have to play long balls. And we’ve found it with Steven Caulker.
“He was not in the best situation in Southampton, didn’t play too much, but this is January and we want to have the best solution for us and we are absolutely convinced that Steven is the best solution for us.”

Former QPR defender Caulker had a loan spell with Southampton until the end of this season, but the contract with Southampton was cancelled following Liverpool’s deal with QPR to sign him for the rest of this campaign.

The new Anfield boss is keen to add some numbers, making bids for two highly rated Bundesliga centre-halves Neven Subotic and Joel Matip, but those efforts eventually have been blocked for the time being which meant a short-term solution is all that was left and Caulker remains the temporary solution Liverpool are looking for until Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren are fully recovered from their respective injuries.
