Liverpool players are fully geared up to welcome their fierce rival Manchester United at Anfield this Sunday with the game being widely viewed as a must-win game for both the sides.

Having spent heavily in the summer and following last season’s expectations, Liverpool are not where their fans would have loved to see them when the season began. Currently they are 5th in the table trailing United by 2 points.

Ahead of such a showdown, Liverpool players were seen ramped up for their preparations at their training ground. Striker Daniel Sturrdige along with stars like Raheem Sterling, Lazar Markovic, Martin Skrtel, Mario Balotelli, Alberto Moreno and Dejan Lovren were pictured going about their paces during the training session.

It was not all serious stuff on the pitch as many players joked and laughed during the training session including club captain Steven Gerrard. Martin Skrtel in particular was having fun as the defender took some time off and played with camera which were kept to snap the players.
