Premier League champions edge past Ligue 1 winners PSG as they win their second match of the International Champions Cup on penalties. Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois scored the winning penalty to seal the fate of the match. PSG talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored the opening goal of the match in the 25th minute. Victor Moses cancelled out the lead by scoring in the 65th minute. Colombian international and Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao made his debut for Chelsea in this game.
Chelsea who were beaten by New York Red Bulls in the last match, took the field against a much stronger PSG side. Zlatan Ibrahimovic started for the French giants. The Swedish talisman scored the opening goal in the 25th minute from a easy tap in after a shot rebounded.
Chelsea fielded their strongest possible XI as they were desperate for a win. They had all the first choice center backs. New signing Asmir Begovic started yet again irrespective of conceding 4 goals in the previous match.
