Arsene Wenger will not be too unhappy with his team’s start to the new Premier League season.
The Gunners are unbeaten since their opening day defeat to Liverpool at the Emirates and have improved by leaps and bounds in this time. They have managed to blow away some decent teams in the league and were completely rampant at the weekend over cross-town rivals Chelsea.
They are now busy with the Champions League clash over Swiss opponents Basel and will hope that their attacking duo of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will do enough to give them all three points from the game.
The manager has not been lucky enough to have a full strength team this season, with first team players picking up lengthy injuries consistently.
The likes of Francis Coquelin, Danny Welbeck, Gabriel, Per Mertesacker and Aaron Ramsey are all injured at the moment and will miss at least the start of the next month for the club.
Arsenal faces a trip to the Turf Moor this weekend in the Premier League after the European affair and will hope to end the week with a win before the international break.
The international break will provide much-needed rest to some of the players in the squad but one player who will have no respite is Chilean international Alexis Sanchez.

Having won the Copa America in the off-season earlier this year, Sanchez is an integral part of the squad for the Chile national team and has been included in the squad for the games in the international break.
Swansea City travels to the Emirates, just days after Sanchez’ World Cup qualifier against Peru and it is understood that the 27-year old might miss the Premier League clash after the international break.

The Peru games is played late in the night on the 11th of October while Guidolin’s side travel to London on the 15th.
It is understood that Sanchez will not take any risk for the Swansea game and that he will have proper rest before jumping back into the hectic Premier League schedule.
He was named the player of the tournament in the Copa America earlier this year and it is hard to see Chile drop their star for a qualifier.
Wenger will not be happy with the schedule of the international games and will hope that Sanchez is back without a niggle or an injury and will not rush him back into the game.
He is an extremely important player for both sides and will hope to keep himself fit and in form to help the sides this campaign.
Do you think Arsenal will miss Sanchez for Swansea game?
