James Rodriguez To Chelsea: New Twist As Journalist Offer Latest Update!! 1

Real Madrid will not let James Rodriguez leave until at least end of this season.

That’s according to journalist Guillem Balague.

Those Chelsea fans dreaming of James Rodriguez can keep doing so — he’s not going anywhere … right now as Real Madrid boss Zidane is reluctant to listen to any offer right now.

Of course, this doesn’t mean he won’t move at some point. Chelsea surely still will be after him come this summer, and then it makes more sense for Real Madrid to move him.

Real Madrid’s transfer ban was just reduced, meaning the team can now acquire new players this summer. Selling James then would boost the bank account as they go after transfer targets after the season.

The Colombia international has been linked with a move to the Premier League, with The Sun claiming Chelsea and Manchester United are keen.

With the future of the 25-year-old Real Madrid attacking midfielder looking in doubt, Jose Mourinho made a last attempt as he enquired to bring the Colombian to Old Trafford in the summer.

Real Madrid has demanded a £50m transfer fee to take Rodriguez from the Spanish capital.

While Manchester United are no strangers to spending big, having already spent £142m in the summer, Mourinho would be hard pressed to justify such an outlay on another attacker.

Rodriguez has struggled to get game time under Zinedine Zidane with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale stealing the limelight in Madrid.

And Balague has discussed Rodriguez’s La Liga future, revealing the playmaker is in Real’s future plans.

He tweeted: “James said in December he was considering his future.

“No offers arrived for him and Real want him to stay till end of the season at least.”

The 25-year-old has featured 16 times and scored twice for Los Blancos this season, as Zinedine Zidane looks to keep the winning formula ongoing as his side look to go six points clear on top of the La Liga table.

Although with Manchester United, Chelsea, Juventus, Inter and AC Milan monitoring the situation, it looks more than likely we could see a big money transfer for the Colombian come the summer, not this month.
