Jamie Carragher’s thoughts have been clearly drawn towards the recent surge Manchester United are making in the transfer market to secure their key transfer targets. Having played for Liverpool, it does not come as a surprise how Carragher loves to take a crack at anything related to Manchester United.

In his latest attempt to mock United, the former Liverpool defender has fired a shot at United’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan. Sky Sports reported the story yesterday, where it was claimed that Manchester United have reached an agreement to sign the German international from Dortmund next season.

Carragher took to twitter to express his baseless facts about Gundogan being a crock and injury-prone. Carragher tweeted Garry Neville and Sky Sports claiming United are signing a “crock” player, who cannot get a game for Dortmund currently.

Jamie Carragher’s tweet or remark looks baseless when you consider that Gundogan has played 27 games for Dortmund this season and has been one of their key players.

According to Sky Germany, Gundogan is due to sign his contract in next few days before joining United officially next season.

As far as Carragher’s tweet is concerned, we are yet to hear a reply from Gary Neville, who has previously trolled the former Liverpool legend on numerous occasion on twitter and in the Sky Sports studios.
