Breaking: Leicester City star striker Jamie Vardy has won the Premier League Player of the Season award, for this 2015/16 season.

The 29-year-old has netted 24 times so far this premier league season, which helped Leicester to win the Premier League trophy in a miraculous way and finally the club has tasted the glory for the first time in their club history.

Vardy, the England international had already been named the “Footballer of the Year” by the Football Writers’ Association (FWA), while his Leicester City teammate Riyad Mahrez has won the PFA Player of the Year award already.

The Algeria international Riyad Mahrez was named the Player of the Season by the Foxes fans when France international N’Golo Kante, the key behind Leicester’s unbelievable defensive performance, snatched the award for also Players’ Player of the Season.
