According to James Ducker, Adnan Januzaj of Borussia Dortmund is set to come back at Old Trafford. The youngster was loaned to the German club this season to improve his gameplay. The decision of loaning the Serbian was a wise from Dutchman Louis van Gaal. However, things didn’t work as per plan for Manchester United. Adnan wasn’t awarded chances at Dortmund and often lacked playing time at BVB. Thus, the English giants have decided to call back the young prospect to England. Also, Manchester United are in need of attacking men in the squad and the addition of Januzaj will bolster the midfield.
Adnan will cut short his unsuccessful loan spell at Germany and immediately return to his primary club. Manchester United have asked Borussia Dortmund to terminate Adnan Januzaj’s season-long loan deal and Dortmund have agreed to the request.
The paperwork for the return is expected to be finalized in the next 24 hours. Januzaj will be back at Manchester possibly this week.
The termination of the loan deal is a sort of embarrassment for the player as he had a disastrous time at Borussia Dortmund. Adnan failed to start any match for BVB which frustrated him. Adnan’s return to Manchester United could be a benefit to the team provided the manager makes him play in his position instead of exploiting yet another talented prospect. The official announcement of Adnan’s return is likely to be done tomorrow following the completion of the essential paperwork. Hope things don’t get worse for him, now.
