Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United have found some decent form in the last few games and will be hoping to start their ascend to the top of the table moving into the business end of the campaign.

The January transfer window has entered into its last few hours and the Red Devils have been quite busy throughout the day, trying to finish incoming and outgoing deals before the deadline.

The manager has been looking to offload a few players this January and one such player who might actually stay at the club till the end of the season is full-back Matteo Darmian.

A Louis van Gaal purchase at the Old Trafford, Darmian, was expected to be the first-choice full-back for years to come but he failed to have the kind of an impact he was known for and quickly fell down the pecking order.

However, the 26-year old could not win the trust of the manager and has been linked with an exit since the start of the month with reports even suggesting that he was house hunting in Milan ahead of a move to the San Siro.

However a story run by the Manchester Evening News now claims that the 27-year old will not be leaving the club on the deadline day.

Antonio Valencia is the first choice right-back for Mourinho this season so Darmian has been forced to play at left-back for most of his games.

The Red Devils are active in all 4 competitions this season and Mourinho is right to hold on to the player who might come good in the later stages of the campaign.

This leaves United with Daley Blind and Luke Shaw alongside Matteo Darmian and Antonio Valencia as the clubs right backs.

Do you think this back line can win Jose Mourinho any silverware this season?
