After a disastrous month in all competition, Anfield outfit Liverpool were back to winning ways with a thumping performance at Anfield to dent Tottenham Hotspur’s chance at the Premier League title this season.
The Reds are currently 11 point off Chelsea at the top of the table, but just a point off a place in the Champions League next season and with just 13 matches to go this season for the side, they are expected to qualify for the elite competition come the end of the season.
The squad at the club is nowhere close to good enough to compete in Europe and Jurgen Klopp is already looking to make some quality additions to the squad to improve on it.
This has seen Liverpool linked with a move for some of the best players in Europe and one name that is now on the radar is West Ham star Pedro Obiang.

The Spaniard has been the best midfielder at the Olympic Stadium this season and has been one of the most consistent players for West this campaign.
At 24, Obiang is an option for the future and reports from Sun suggest that Liverpool are desperate to sign him in the summer.
The Reds lack a quality deep-lying midfielder who can dictate the game and though Klopp has been looking at the likes of Mahmoud Dahoud and William Carvalho recently, it is understood that Obiang’s experience in the Premier League might see Klopp favor him in the summer.
Obiang has 2 years left on his current contract and his form this season has alerted a number of clubs from Europe. So Slaven Bilic is already trying to offer him a new contract but the report suggests that Liverpool can land the man if they are able to meet his valuation.

The former Sampdoria player is expected to cost around £18m and it is understood that Klopp is already planning to make a bid in the summer.
Slaven Bilic will surely try to keep him at the club after the end of the season but if Liverpool managed to qualify for the Champions League, it might be too good an offer for the Spanish midfielder to turn down.
However, Obiang, is currently settled at the Olympic Stadium and will fight to help West Ham to Europe, by putting in some consistent performances from now to the end of the season.
Do you think Pedro Obiang is the right man for Liverpool?
