Man United clash still bothering Klopp: Liverpool boss reacts when asked about that game 1

It seems Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not enjoying the questions about comments made by Jose Mourinho or anyone else after his team played out a dull goalless stalemate against Manchester United on Monday.

The in-form Reds, who were on a four-match winning streak, were widely tipped to defeat Jose Mourinho’s team but they failed to find the back of the net against a solid United defence.

Following the stalemate, Mourinho was critical of Liverpool’s defensive approach and said blasted the Merseyside club for failing to win the match despite enjoying the majority of the possession.

Mourinho was severely criticised for his tactics. However, when asked about the game before his team’s Europa League tie against Fenerbahce, he said: “First of all, because the game was and we have today another one, and we have Sunday another one.

Taking a dig at Liverpool, he said that instead of criticising his team, the media should talk about the ‘phenomenal’ Liverpool’s performance.

‘But why your [the media’s] approach isn’t the phenomenal team couldn’t beat us… and go in that direction.

Well, when Klopp was asked to comment on Mourinho’s ‘phenomenal’ team comment. he said: “What I don’t like too much in the world of media is you write what you hear and not what you see.”

Annoyed by the post match reactions, Klopp said:“I don’t care what anybody says after the game.”

“I know the game already and I know what I have to learn off it. I thought the game was over, so why should I talk about it still?,” he added.

“Don’t bother me with things like that. I’m not one percent interested. You can’t win the game after the game, which I’ve learnt early on in my career.”

Meanwhile, Liverpool will have a chance to get back to winning ways when they host West Brom at Anfield on Saturday.
