Another name that has entered the race to sign a certain Leverkusen star striker is Liverpool whose boss is looking for lethal attacking options as his key players have been sidelined with injuries.

After his on and off starts at the Theatre of Dreams, Javier Hernandez wowed everyone with his lone spell at Real Madrid who will surely regret having not made it permanent given the Mexican’s exploits in the German Bundesliga. With 11 goals in 14 league games this season, Chicharito has been Leverkusen’s reckoning. Chicharito has been on the radar of two North London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham and now giving them stiff competition is Jurgen Klopp who lost to the Red Devils in the absence of a good attacking force.

Even though Hernandez cannot play for any new team as he has already played for two teams this season, it has not deterred any of the Premier League giants from running after the 27 year old.

Tottenham and Arsenal are well set in the forward department with Giroud and Kane doing well for both the North London clubs. But the same cannot be said about the Reds with Jurgen Klopp failing to get the winning combination up front in the light of injury to his Premier player Daniel Sturridge.

The combinations the German boss has tried in the face of Benteke and Origi hasn’t quite worked for the Merseyside club and the manager is all set to get a paceman who can deliver for them and is undoubtedly eyeing Chicharito.

While the future of the Mexican will only become clear in the summer one person whose future path is very clear is a certain Balotelli whose association with Liverpool is said to be sure to come to an end and we will see the Italian soon playing for the hammers who are ready for a cash deal.
