The Greek international has drawn attention from top clubs in England and his agent has confirmed that Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in signing the 25-year old Kostas Manolas.
New manager Pep Guardiola looks to add more depth to his central defence and views Manolas as a perfect addition to his side. Chelsea are also very much interested in the player as the Blues are ready to offer high wages to the player than what he is earning at the moment at AS Roma.
His agent, Ioannis Evangelopoulos has confirmed the interest from Premier League trio but also refused to comment whether a player will leave Serie A this summer.
“The best clubs in Europe want him,” he said. “There isn’t just Manchester City, but also United and Chelsea.
“I haven’t spoken with Roma for a while. Will he remain in the capital? No comment.”
Meanwhile, Roma president James Pallotta expects the player to stay. He told Sky Italia, “Why will Manolas not stay? He has a contract.”
“Does he want more money? He is happy here.”
