FIFA 22 will be released later this year. Like every year, EA Sports will release another FIFA title this year as well. For almost 30 years, EA Sports is releasing a FIFA title every year and this year will be no different.

There is no official news on the release date of FIFA 22. However, it is expected to be released within October 8th of this year. A number of trusted sites are claiming that the much awaited football game will be released by the mentioned date.

Every year we see one or two big stars featuring on the cover of the FIFA games. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been the cover star of FIFA games for quite a long time. Last year it was Kylian Mbappe, phone FIFA 20 it was Eden Hazard who featured on the cover photo. On the previous two years, it was Cristiano Ronaldo, and on FIFA 17, Marco Reus featured on the cover.

From FIFA 13 to FIFA 16, it was all Lionel Messi. Before that Wayne Rooney was a common name on FIFA covers. This year it seems FIFA will feature someone on the former who has never featured on the cover of any FIFA games before. Previously, Mohamed Salah was rumoured to be featured on the cover of FIFA 22. Now it seems like Riyad Mahrez who will beat everyone on the race. He is also leading the race among the vote the fans.

Like the recent years, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will be the to top stars of this year’s FIFA too according to rumours. Neymar, Jan Oblak, Kevin De Bryune, Kylian Mbappe, Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah hopefully will be rated 90 or above like last year. But Virgil Van dijk Sadio Mane and Ter Stegen might not be rated 90 or above.

There are also rumours that FIFA 22 will support cross platforming, that is gamers from different consoles will be able to play with each other. There is a disappointing rumour as well that there will be no improvement on the offline manager mode this year either. Hopefully, FIFA 22 will not be as disappointing as FIFA 21.
