Premier League underdogs who have outshined other top clubs, Leicester City seem to be enjoying their current run. Dominating the league and defeating the opponent game after game, the Foxes have cautioned the rest of the team to not underestimate their strength. Currently 2nd on the standings, the team from King Power Stadium is rejoicing it’s span of victories.
Their key striker Jamie Vardy is on the headlines everywhere and is making history, each day. After breaking the legendary Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record, Vardy’s fame has multiplied. Several clubs are linked with the player after he broke the record. Apart from the mighty Vardy, the unsung hero Riyad Mahrez too is turning things around for the English club. Mahrez has been the lionheart of the team and has contributed in each game, under the shadows. Every Premier League club now fears the Foxes.
The club is absolutely delighted with the current success and seems satisfied with the squad. Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri says he will not sign any players in January, unless the club suffers injuries or if a current player wants to leave. It seems that the club does not wish to add more power to the team and believes that the squad is balanced.
The team has enough strength and that should suffice for the second half of the campaign. However, Mahrez and Vardy both were linked with other clubs for a January transfer move. But it seems highly unlikely that the two stars will want to step out of the club at this glorious stage.
