Transfer Window is in the full swing and the first Blockbuster rumour has taken over the internet, it involves Lionel Messi and Chelsea. It all has been started and fueled by Lionel Messi himself. Ever since, Luis Enrique left Messi on the bench in the Real Sociedad loss, there have been few quite rumors linking Messi’s future away from Barcelona.
What does Messi do next, he then goes and starts following Chelsea’s official account on Instagram. Many have taken it as the strongest hint till now, that Messi could leave Camp Nouu in coming seasons.
Why would Messi do that? This must be Barcelona fans’ reaction right now. Is he not happy at Barcelona any more? Has he achieved everything in Spain and wants a move to England? All sorts of questions will be raised after Messi’s little Instagram activity.
Adding extra life to this insane rumour, Messi was reported to have missed Barcelona’s open training session which had hundreds of kids invited to see their beloved superstars but everyone’s favorite Messi was no where to be seen.
Messi followed fellow Chelsea stars Thibaut Courtois and Fillpe Luis on Instagram along with Chelsea’s official account. In last few days, a mammoth £250 Million Chelsea’s bid for Lionel Messi was talked up in the press, not many paid any attention to it but after Messi’s little Instagram adventure I am sure everyone will stand up and take notice.
Jose Mourinho was asked about Chelsea’s chances of signing Lionel Messi and he said:
“My reaction is that your world changed so much that our world also changed so much. And I think, in this moment, it’s so easy, so easy to have non-truths circulating.
‘It’s so easy that some people put news without confirming or speaks about rumours. Obviously it’s not true. Obviously it’s not true.’
Lionel Messi’s former Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas said last month that he would love to team up with his former teammate once again. Fabregas said expressed his views on possibility of joining Chelsea. Febragas said:
“I wish! Why not? I’d love that to happen. I’d be all for it.
‘As a Barca man, I believe that Messi deserves to retire there for all that he has given the club.
‘He is a legend that has changed Barca’s history. But, as his team-mate and friend, without doubt I’d love to have Leo by my side.

Speculation of Messi leaving the club has grown stronger ever since Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and Carles Puyol have departed the La Liga side. YES £250 Million is a tempting figure but Messi’s worth to Barcelona is way beyond the millions.
Chelsea’s willingness to pay beyond £200 Million
Lionel Messi is definitely worth the money, but will Roman Abramovic go to the limits of slashing £200 Million in one go to secure Lionel Messi. Such a transfer would disrupt Chelsea’s financial activities for numerous seasons and such financial instability can not be afforded at a club like Chelsea football club.

Lionel Messi has been following Manchester City on Instagram way before he followed Chelsea. So is Messi being the cute devil and trying to initiate a Transfer battle between the Premier League giants. As if now, all I can say is that, if Messi wants a move away from Barcelona, he is going about it the right way to make sure it happens.
