Deserved Player of the Month:
England international Adam Lallana, who has made an exciting start to his Premier League season, has been one of the best players for the club so far.
He was today named the Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for September for his fruitful time at the club. Speaking to the media picking up the trophy, Lallana said, “It is nice to get the award but I think it could have gone to anyone in the whole squad. When you perform well as a team you are going to get players playing well individually.”
