Christian Benteke (£32.5m):
Though not as disastrous as the media would want you to believe, Christian Benteke’s Liverpool stint was not his best. He came into the side to provide a focal point to the attacks of a side that are not really set up to need one. He had a decent time at the Villa Park scoring consistently and though his returns for a debut season at a club were not bad, Klopp, the new manager decided to offload him in the summer and managed to recoup most of what the club spent on him.
