Liverpool fans excited as David Luiz is all set to make play against the Reds 1

David Luiz is all set to make his second debut for Chelsea as veteran centre-back John Terry has been ruled out for the important clash against Liverpool on Friday. The Blues skipper was injured in Chelsea 2-2 draw against Swansea last weekend. While he is expected to recover soon but has been ruled out of the upcoming match.

The club wrote: “John Terry’s injury suffered in Sunday’s game at Swansea is strained ligaments in his foot.

“He will be out for approximately 10 days.”

This means former PSG defender Luiz will partner Gary Cahill in central defence.  And the news has gone down really well with the  Liverpool supporters who are very excited about the thought of their pacy attackers going up against Luiz judging by their reactions on social media. The likes of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Adam Lallana ran riot in the Reds’ 4-1 win over defending champions Leicester City and the Reds fans are really excited to see them in action once again against the Brazil international. Ironically, Luiz made his first debut for Chelsea against the same team in 2011 and it was a forgettable one as the Merseyside club won the match by 1-0.

Here is how the Liverpool fans reacted to the news of Luiz playing against their team:
