Xherdan Shaqiri has been a constant name to have surfaced in recent Transfer Windows gone by. It all looked settled this time round with Juventus leading the chase for Shaqiri’s proposed loan in January with an option to buy him later on. But recent reports from Di Marzio suggests that Liverpool have once again joined the race for the Swizz winger.

Xherdan Shaqiri has been a frustrated figure ever since joining Bayern Munich. Pep Guardiola has been content to let Shaqiri warm the bench this season. According to Di Marzio, Liverpool are back in the race to sign Xherdan Shaqiri.

As per reports, Juventus are interested in an initial loan deal with an option to buy Shaqiri for a fee of 15 Million, which will be paid over 3 years. Bayern Munich are finding these terms very hard to accept and delaying their decision to let Shaqiri leave any time soon.

This delay has given Liverpool the green light to possibly hijack the deal from Juventus and bring the charismatic Swiss winger to Anfield. Liverpool are interested in a straight purchase, which would interest Bayern Munich and a deal could be struck in coming few days.

Liverpool have their sights set on a goal keeper as well with Guilerme Ochoa and Peter Cech leading the potential target list. Peter Cech’s agent earlier had prompted Liverpool to make an official bid to test Chelsea’s resorts in January transfer window. It will be an interesting transfer window for all the Liverpool fans and we can expect at least one major signing in coming month for the reds.
