Liverpool Predicted lineup to face Newcastle United

After a satisfying victory over their cross-town rivals Everton, Liverpool are back in action this Saturday as they welcome relegation struggling Newcastle United to Anfield this weekend. Benitez, the hero from a decade ago will surely receive a good welcome from the Anfield faithful but he cannot expect the same from the players in Red on the field. It is an important game for the visitors as they need to get something from this game if they are to keep their place in the top-flight intact next season.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp revealed that Divock Origi, who picked up a nasty injury in the Everton game will not be back anytime soon. He joins the list of players including Henderson, Can, Gomez, Ings and Rossiter who might not play for Liverpool again this season. However, Benteke and Skrtel are close to regaining full fitness but will not make it for this game.

With a crunch tie against Villareal tight around the corner, Klopp might make a few changes for this game at Anfield. Here is the predicted Liverpool line that can face Newcastle on Saturday:

Goal Keeper:

Simon Mignolet:

The Belgian was hardly troubled by Everton the mid-week and will be hoping to have a similar game in front of goal on Saturday.

Defense:

Jon Flanagan:

After missing out on a place in the side against Bournemouth, Flanagan should be back in the side for this game against Newcastle United.

Kolo Toure:

Was solid at the back in the game against Bournemouth and will hope to provide a similar performance on Saturday.

Lucas Leiva:

Was troubled all night by King last weekend and will once again be up against some good players in the Newcastle side this weekend.

Brad Smith:

The Australian international has been impressive in the limited opportunities he got and will be hoping to impress once again on Saturday.

Mid-field:

Joe Allen:

Has been superb coming off the bench in the last few games and with injuries all around, he will start this game in the mid-field.

Kevin Stewart:

Showed no nerves in his last few crunch games in the mid-field and will surely get his place in the starting XI for this game.

Sheyio Ojo:

Impressive on the flank in the two Premier League starts under his belt and has done enough for Klopp to hand him another one.

Adam Lallana:

The England international was relentless in his last outing and will be raring to go and get some goals behind him on Saturday.

Jordan Ibe:

The winger provide assists for both the Liverpool goals against Bournemouth and will once against start in his favorite right wing on the night.

Attack:

Roberto Firmino:

With injuries to key players, Firmino will be back to playing as a centre forward and will hope to continue his impressive goal-scoring streak in the year.
